Cut and paste

Hi I need to cut a url from an email and paste in my browser.I use edit to cut 
and again use edit to paste in my browser.All I git is the first line of the 
email, somehow I need to select or highlight the url to copy. How is this done?

Cut and Paste Question.

Hey Gang:

I have a client who wishes to cut text from an email and paste it on her 
Facebook page.  Is that hard to accomplish?

There's two way you could do this.

First, right after VoiceOver reads the URL perform a three finger quadruple tap 
to copy the text VoiceOver just read to the clipboard. Now you can go to where 
you want to paste it and use the edit option.

Second, use the text select option in the roter to select the text you want to 
copy, such as the URL. Once you choose text select in the roter, swiping up and 
down will determine the granularity of what you'll be selecting. You can then 
flick left and right to select and deselect text. Note you want to get Voicer's 
focus to the URL before you start this. Now use edit to copy the text to the 
clipboard and then again to paste it where you want it.

Thanks for the info, I think the url is on more then one line. When I paste the

After reading the instructions several times (old age again) I understood how 
to get the entire url selected,however the page still will not load not shure

This is tedious, but might be worth it. If characters is not in your rotor, put 
it in, and go to the beginning of theoriginal  url. Go through it, character by 
character, then do the same to what you pasted in. Hopefully, there is a space 
or some extraneous character that got inserted when you pasted it in.

Jim,
cutting text from an email is impossible but copying is easy.
If they do not have "text selection" in their rotor, they need to select it in 
the rotor settings.
I do not use facebook, so I know nothing about pasting their, but standard copy 
and paste options ought to work.

Hi Jim and Richard 

You can go to text selection item in the rotor and select the relevant text 
from the email. Having selected all that you want, look for the edit option in 
the rotor. You can find the copy option there. And then you can copy and paste 
that text where ever need it. You can also find the share option in the added 
box. When double click on shared you will have multiple options and one of them 
will be Facebook. If you choose Facebook the Facebook app will  open 

And you can choose very want to share in Facebook   Be it  your timeline or 
some group. If you are commenting on some post, then the copy and paste option 
will work

A reminder about cut and paste

Hello,

I need a reminder about how to highlight a section of text on a website, copy 
it to clipboard and then paste it to a blank page.

I have tried the pinch gesture and it tells me it’s selected the beginning of 
the block.  I scroll down to the end of what I want and then I’m not sure what 
to do.  I tried pinching out, pinching in and tapping with no luck.  I see the 
edit choice on the roter but I’m stuck.  Any help is appreciated, as always.

Firstly make sure within the rotor setings in 
Settings/Accessibility/VoiceOver/Rotor, that Text Selection is checked. Then 
get out of these, and you should now see in the rotor Text Selection. Go t the 
site, put yourself on the first word from where you want to start selecting 
text, and move the rotor to text Selection, in which via flicking up and down, 
select words, lines etc. flick right and you should hear the word or line read 
by VoiceOver, and it says Selected. Continue flicking right ntil all you want 
is selected. To unselect something, flick left and it’ll say unselected.
When you’ve selected what you desired, move the rotor to Edit, in which you 
will hear options by flicking up or down, Copy, share etc. Hope this helps some.

app for cut and paste between iPhone and mac

Hi,

I remember reading that there was an app that allowed you to cut, copy, and 
paste info between the Mac and iPHone and use the Mac keyboard as a Bluetooth 
keyboard for the iPHone. Which app is this? I searched the archives, but I 
can't find the thread on it. I found the iKeyboard app on AppleVis, but there's 
no mention in the app description of an ability to cut and paste between the 
iPHone and mac. Is that the right app?

"use mac keyboard with iphone"  and found this article about type2phone. It 
does mention copying and pating also and it is in the Mac app store for $4.99.

No. You want Type2Phone. iKeyboard allows you to fully control your 
iPhone using your mac's keyboard.

This type2phone app works really well. It doesn't take over your Mac keyboard 
either as I was concerned it might; it only sends text to the iPhone when you 
are in the window of the app. Btw pasting is cmd-shift-v. But just to clarify: 
it allows you to type or to copy and paste text; it doesn't allow you to do 
voiceover commands and navigation via the keyboard as most bluetooth keyboards 
would do. That being said, it does have a "special" column in menus by which 
you can lock and unlock your phone, mute and unmute, control volume and 
brightness and some other things and some of the function keys, when pressed 
within the type2phone do work also. I think the vo combination doesn't transmit 
to it and that's why you can't do voiceover controls; I would think that might 
be possible though.

Cut and paste in VoiceDream and/or Read 2 go

Hello,

Is there a way to cut a section out of either Voice Dream Reader or Read 2 Go 
and then paste it some where else like in the native notes app?  I'd like to 
compile some favorite recipes from a number of books.

I'm using 5s and I have not yet upgraded to IOS 9 as I'm waiting for the less 
buggy release.
