Re: Description of how Taptic Time works on Apple watch?
Ah, that makes more sense. Thanks for the info, I am looking forward more and more to getting my new watch. From: Greg Wocher To: Date: 2016/09/14 9:36 AM Subject:Re: Description of how Taptic Time works on Apple watch? Hello, If you do a one finger double tap, the watch will vibrate the whole time. It will vibrate hours and minutes. If you do a one finger triple tap, it will vibrate just the minutes. This assumes you already know what the hour is and you just want to know the minutes. I am not sure how to set it up exactly but I did listen to a podcast on AppleVis from David Woodbridge explaining that when you lift your wrist, the watch does not automatically speak. You tap with one finger once to hear the time, double tap to have taptic time and he said that you could tap with one finger three times for another, but I wasn't too sure what he was referring to. I know that I am definitely going to buy an Apple Watch, but most likely the Series 1 with the processor upgrade, as I find the Series 2 a little too pricy for what it offers extra. David Woodbridge just did a podcast on this. Look for the iSee podcast in your favorite podcatcher. Now that watch OS is GA is there any comprehensive description of taptic time? I am considering getting an apple watch now that I can tell time with it with out the watch speaking. It looks like you have to set this up once your watch is paired with your iPhone which probably means I can not try this out in an apple store.
