Hello,
I've been hearing that apple has good security. If you do have money on the
account, it does ask a few times. However, if you don't have money, before the
purchase takes place, you are asked to set up a payment method.

RE: Folders & passwords

2016-11-06 Thread Todd Patkus
Sieghard,

I remind you that there were a few occasions when Apple computers were hacked!

Since more and kids learn computing very early of age, they could possibly be
able to find a subtle/underlying way to craftily/slyly sneak and suck billions
of US dollars! If it ever happens, I would not be surprised. I would just nod
at Apple. Smile

Rich, think of this.

Re: Folders & passwords

2016-11-05 Thread Donna
I have set restrictions. Was hoping for a way to just put Settings into a
folder & password protect the folder. Oh well...sigh...guess I'll just have to
keep resetting the screen brightness, font size, make sure wifi is on etc etc
etc..all the things that can't be controlled within restrictions..He is getting
older so hopefully him causing me to go crazy won't last much longer

Don't think so, but you may be able to set restrictions and prevent some of the
problems.
Keep in mind that if you go to Settings > General > Restrictions you will b
asked to set a 4-digit passcode. Make sure you don't forget it since otherwise
you can't get back in there if you want to disable said restrictions.

Subject: Folders & passwords

Hi All,

Is there an app or a way to create a folder & password protect the folder? My 6
year old keeps changing things in Settings on his iPad & taking useless photos.
So what I would like to be able to do is create a folder & add apps like
Settings, iTunes, App store & Camera in the folder & password protect the
folder.
