John, exactly, you're right it's all about choices and the choices that are
most accessible.

I think that’s the essence of some of the initial comments that are being
missed by some. It’s not a matter of not wanting these apps to be
accessible. I have been on a personal crusade for a long time to push
getting applications accessible so that the blind have equal footing when it
comes to accessing them. My point several messages ago is that I find simply
calling in my orders is so much easier and faster. Yes, ordering online or
through an app, even if it’s accessible, is time consuming and even
frustrating in some instances. It takes me less than a minute to call in my
order to one of the two pizza places still open around me, and I also have
the luxury of easily calling them back if something is wrong with the order.
That’s just the basic difference to me in my world. I’ve used all of the
delivery apps with mixed success, so I am in no way saying that we, as the
blind community, should not push for their accessibility.

IMHO, it's irrelevant whether you'd can call a pizza place or not. The
fact of the matter is that sighted people can use a web site or an app
to place an order and therefore the blind should be able to as well.

Yeah I'd rather call my pizza company and order what I want and then

Do people actually make calls any more to order food? I prefer to
call

and
make orders verbally than use apps if possible. Speaking to a human
and
specifying items when it comes to multiple orders has been much more
successful to me. Doordash and Grub Hub are fine, but I just had an
issue with
the order being incomplete with a local restaurant chain via Grub
Hub.

Yes, absolutely agree that there are many different scenarios & thus it is
critical for these delivery / restaurant apps to be accessible. I have used
the delivery apps when wanting to browse menus. Pizza is different as I always
know exactly what I want. And after ordering online a couple times with other
restaurants, I also generally know what I want.

If I know exactly what I want then calling to place an order can easily take
less time then using an app or a web site, but there are times when I want to
review the menu or glance through the specials before I make up my mind. I
don't always want to have someone on the phone walk me through these when I
could do it myself through the app or the web site. My only point is that there
are multiple scenarios here, so just because calling works for one person in
one situation doesn’t mean it'll work for everyone all of the time.

Hi,

All I can say is that Americans really need just-eat. Thankfully that
website/app is very accessible. I don't use dominos because they
refuse to make their app accessible, so I'll order from a local pizza
place instead.
Of course I could ring in, but they also refuse to allow their online
offers to be used over the phone, and I don't see why I should have to
pay extra.

Re: Has Anyone Ordered From Little Caesars Pizza Before

2020-04-04 Thread Joshua Hendrickson
I pretty much always order pizza or a sandwich via phone. I've got a
store near by called Caseys and although I did order online once, it
was really more trouble then it was worth. I do get the reward
offers, but I rarely feel the need to try and order online to receive
the order, it isn't the most accessible website. I like calling up
the 2 local Pizza places and just ordering what I want via phone.

I refuse to use door dash. The first time I tried them I was successful and
the second time they declined a perfectly fine debit card that I’ve been using
for two years. Their support was of absolutely no help whatsoever. So I figured

Well, as I said yesterday, I put my order in the cart and went to enter my
payment info and there was no edit fields that I could find so that's why I
couldn't complete the order. I even called to get help but no one answered the
phone. I am good at placing other food orders and grocery store orders but it
just didn't work with Little Caesars.

Do people actually make calls any more to order food? I prefer to call
and

make orders verbally than use apps if possible. Speaking to a human and
specifying items when it comes to multiple orders has been much more
successful to me. Doordash and Grub Hub are fine, but I just had an issue
with

the order being incomplete with a local restaurant chain via Grub Hub.

I was only able to get the phone for Little Caesars yesterday. They haven't
been delivering long. That's how I've ordered from some of the other pizza
restaurants in the past. They don't have the pizza restaurants I order from on
Door Dash plus you have to pay a service fee and delivery fee when you use Door
Dash unless you use Door Dash pass.

And yes this is something I've done a few times with our pizza places.

If they know what they are doing then you get the discounts
If they don't give it to you then you don't go back.

Do people actually make calls any more to order food? I prefer to call and
make orders verbally than use apps if possible. Speaking to a human and
specifying items when it comes to multiple orders has been much more successful
to me. Doordash and Grub Hub are fine, but I just had an issue with the order
being incomplete with a local restaurant chain via Grub Hub.

As per the discounts .. If you call them and tell them that you are visually
impaired and can't access their app or site .. I have always been given the
discount...might have to push for a manager, but usually they will give in ..

Yes, that's true, but most of the discounts, promos, etc. are only available if
you order online. This is why places like Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Round Table
Pizza are being sued.

I often use Door Dash, but on the rare occasion where there is an issue, it
is almost imposible to get help once the order has been placed.

Do people actually make calls any more to order food? I prefer to call
and make orders verbally than use apps if possible. Speaking to a human and
specifying items when it comes to multiple orders has been much more
successful to me. Doordash and Grub Hub are fine, but I just had an issue
with the order being incomplete with a local restaurant chain via Grub Hub.

Re: Has Anyone Ordered From Little Caesars Pizza Before

2020-04-02 Thread Andy Baracco
It appears that most pizza restaurant sites are inaccessible. For me, I
have found that the best way to order a pizza online is through apps like
Door Dash or Uber Eats.

Subject: Has Anyone Ordered From Little Caesars Pizza Before

I was trying to order from Little Caesars Pizza and I got the order added to
my cart but I could not add my payment method no matter what I tried to do.
It said add credit card and said complete all fields but when I double
tapped on any of those buttons, there was no edit fields. If anyone can
help, I would appreciate it.
