You could try deleting the app from your phone and re-installing it. Re: Having trouble with apps Updating
Hi, I had a bad problem with updates a little while back. I solved my problem doing the following: 1) empty the app switcher. 2) Reboot your phone. 3) now begin to to update, but take no more than two at a time. (Do them individually if you can.) This was the method that finally worked for me. I hope it works also for you. Hi Mich, From time to time Apple may ask this for security and it doesn't matter if your card is maxed out since you will not be billed. If you bought a paid app and were charged and the app installed then you will not be billed again. This has happened to me before as well and all I had to do is provide the 3 digit card verification code since the card number, expiry date and so on were all there and only the field for the CV code required a value. RE: Having trouble with apps Updating
Hi Mich, Then I am not sure what is going on, if you are not trying to buy an app this should have nothing to do with verifying the CV code of your credit card. I guess you can always send an email to itunesstoresupp...@apple.com. Alternatively you can just try again when you made a payment to your card or if you sync your phone with iTunes you could see if you can update the apps in iTunes and then sync your phone which would put the updated apps on your phone as long as you tell iTunes to sync apps. RE: Having trouble with apps Updating
Hi Chasity, There is nothing you can do, this happens sometimes and is most likely an issue on Apple's end. Simply wait maybe until the morning, then if you have an app which you know had an update, just double tap on that app. If the app has an update this will not open the app but restart the download/update process and chances are your app or apps which haven't updated will update fine later.
