Yes, but 2 or 3 seconds is a long time, at best I'd do a 1 1000 or Mississippi
count after the tone.

RE: Iphone se 2020 problem

2023-01-02 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Yes, I find it's well worth waiting the extra half second or so after the tone
because it seems Siri most often comes back with something stupid if you speak
too early. For example, I may say "Call John Smith", and Siri may say "What
would you like to know about John Smith". I assume what happens is that I
speak just a bit too quickly and all Siri hears is "John Smith" so it asks me
what I want with him.

Siri may comeback and say which one?, or this is on the Web, or many other

I always release the button after the Siri tone, or after I have guessed it.

Not only is the tone a little/ or a lot, quieter, but it seems longer to me,
and if you have any difficulty hearing it clearly, you probably start talking
before Siri is fully listening.
If using Hey Siri, I don’t' have any issues.
If holding in the button, you have to wait until the tone has fully stopped
before it will hear everything you say.

I have also experience this, with the same device running the same iOS I have
noticed, if you wait a bit longer after the tone sounds, that seems to work

Andy, try waiting two or three seconds after you hear the tone, then basket to
call the person. There seems to be a certain amount of time just after the tone
that it’s still not listening to you

Iphone se 2020 problem

2023-01-02 Thread Andrew J. LaPointe
Hello All, I have the Iphone se2020 with the ios 16.?? Update. Anytime I ask
Siri to call Joe or anyone, ask to open an app or just ablut most things,
Siri comes back with something off the wall. For an example, Siri call Joe
Walters, Siri may comeback and say which one?, or this is on the Web, or
many other crazy things. At this point, I will act like I am mad and ask to
call someone and Siri will call and do what I ask. Sometimes Siri will give
me the phone number of the person I asked to call instead of
calling...Anyone else have this problem? Thank you. Andy and Leroy
