KNFB readers trouble
I recently got a new iPhone 6+. After restoring my iPhone Mike K in F the reader is not working properly. I have deleted the at and then reinstalled it. I have one into settings and measure the camera was allowed. The app will come up but voiceover is extremely extremely sluggish so makes the app not usable. I believe KNFB is aware that the app does not run properly on the 6 Plus. Not sure what exactly the problem is, I am sure if you call them they can explain it, but it was discussed on the list before and apparently KNFB is working on releasing an update which will fix this. Until then I don’t think there is anything you can do except wait until the update comes out. Hi John, I contacted KNFB about this issue just last week and they told me that there will be an update coming out soon to deal with this issue. As a matter of fact I remember seeing on their Twitter feed just last week that they have already submitted the update to Apple, so it is just a matter of waiting for Apple to approve the update. Hi John, The app works very well with the default settings. If its not working properly I would delete it again and download it again. I wonder if your VO is working correctly in other apps? I am using IOS7 but other people I know are working it very well with IOS 8 so that is not the problem. Which version of IOS 8 are you running? Perhaps, if you’re not running 8.0.2, you could install that and see if the problem could be in the IOS itself.
