Re: Music Streaming app preferences.

2015-03-17 Thread Traci Duncan
Just in case anyone has Amazon Prime, don’t forget about Amazon Prime Music. I
really like it as a way to try out an entire album, before deciding if I want
to buy the whole thing, or just a handful of tracks.

I have to say though, Pandora remains my favorite. I stopped Pandora One last
year, but miss it from time to time. For my music tastes, I get better results
via Pandora than iTunes radio, when creating customizing my stations.

Another sort of streaming service is Songza. It is great fun for mood,
activity, genre, decade, etc.

Re: Music Streaming app preferences.

2015-03-17 Thread Kimber Gardner
I have Spotify premium and like it very much. I'm old school and enjoy
listening to entire albums and spotify allows me to do this. I have
also listened to a few ablums before I bought them and saved myself a
few dollars when they were not to my taste.

Thanks Richard, have you done the Spotify Premium or are you still using
free. I know some folks who stick with the free for a while but was just
curious. I may take a closer look at them, like I said, they're pretty
appealing in their own right. Lol. Thanks for your suggestion.

It has been a while since I tried iHeart Radio, but the accessibility
wasn't very good a few months ago.
If you don't mind some short commercials from time to time, Spotify is
quite accessible free. Then you can decide if you want to pay the $9.99
for the commercial free access and whatever other features you get for
 that.
I have not used Pandora for a very long time.

Forgvive me if this comes in twice, my email is acting a little nuts at
the moment. I wanted to ask everybody about music streaming services. I'm
looking into joining one and just wanted to get everybody else's input as
to what they like and why out of curiosity. I know I do this every so
often but I'm looking into something that will keep things going for a
while and that will grow as I need it too as it were. I've got iTunes
match subscription and have been using iTunes radio quite a bit with that
subscription. However, I've heard some interesting things about Pandora
recently that have made me curious and of course Spotify is always luring
if I can swing the $9.95 a month. Heart Radio I know is also really good
from what I hear but was just wondering. Thanks guys and hope everyone is
 doing well. Take care.
