RE: DigitEyes app error message during sync

2013-11-13 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hello Cher,

When you deleted Digit-Eyes from iTunes you were probably asked if you also
wanted to move it to the recycle bin. Maybe you don't recall, but if you
said yes then this would delete Digit-Eyes from your iTunes Media\Mobile
Applications folder which in any case is what you want.

Transferring it from your iPhone or syncing your iPhone should put it back.
If not you can always redownload it in iTunes.

Regards,

Sieghard

Sieghard - The app seems OK on the phone- because I downloaded it straight
to the phone yesterday. I just now deleted the app from iTunes on the PC,
but when I looked at the iTunes media folder under My Music, it does not
show up there. Do you think that this is the source of the problem? If so,
perhaps downloading it straight onto the PC will get it back in there. Do
you think transferring purchased apps from the phone to the PC does not put
them in the media folder?

I would delete it completely from itunes and your phone and then redownload
it, this will most likely fix your problem and as long as you haven't
changed Apple Id's you will not be charged again..

Since upgrading from an iPhone4 to a 5C, I get an error message for Digit
Eyes during every sync- and the app is not installed on the phone. I have
downloaded the app on the phone and transferred back to the PC- but this did
not solve the problem. Should I try deleting the app in iTunes or what else
would anyone suggest. (Wrote to DigitEyes but never received a reply.)
Thanks very much!

That may be- don't recall. A complicating factor was the move from XP to
Win7 last spring also. Not sure if all the iTunes Media was moved over
correctly. Keep learning :)

Thanks, Cher
