Ok, if we actually read the manuals of our keyboards; we might find that
more of them support this than we thought. Getting readable manuals is an
issue in its own right.

I'm not Ricardo, but my IOGear multi-link bluetooth keyboard can switch
between six devices. All of them can be on at the same time and one switches
between them by using the fn key and the corresponding number (1-6). But of
course when buying a keyboard one needs to look at the key size and keyboard
layout and whatever else one wants in a keyboard. I really like my IOGear;
in fact I have one that sits on my desk and one that travels in my purse and
they are both set up the same way to access all my devices, but some might
not like the layout or key size or something.

 Hi,

I just wanted to add, there are some bluetooth keyboards that allow you to
switch from one paired device to another. Some support up to 3 different
 devices.

 Hi guys,

I've been having problems with my bluetooth keyboard: Some keys don't
work properly, and whenever I try to put in my password, the keyboard
goes absolutely nuts, and puts in lots of extra letters that I haven't
even touched. Since I find it very hard to work the IPhone without a
keyboard, I would like to know if any keyboard that works with an

Kindest regards and thanks in advance,

Thanks for the answer! I've had real trouble finding a bluetooth keyboard in my
part of Sweden, and when asking if an IPad Keyboard would work just as well,
none of the shop assistants knew the answer. But I'm glad to hear that a
keyboard for an IPad works just as well, even if it's hugity big in comparison.

Hi.
Any Bluetooth keyboard which works with an iPad will work with the Iphone.
Keyboards which require a wired connection, like those which connect to a
camera kit on the iPad, or like those which are part of a dock may work, but
probably will not or will have problems.

I'm not Ricardo, but my IOGear multi-link bluetooth keyboard can switch between
six devices. All of them can be on at the same time and one switches between

Since I find it very hard to work the IPhone without a
keyboard, I would like to know if any keyboard that works with an
IPad, also is supposed to work with an IPhone?

Kindest regards and thanks in advance,

 Helena and the friendly Mitzie-cat.

2012-12-29 Thread Mickey Quenzer
Thanks Ricardo:

Interesting keyboard. Sounds like you can update it's hardware with USB?
Wonder if you can charge it with USB?
My original Apple Keyboard lost a couple of keys in a fall little piece of
plastic which holds the key on broke off!

2012-12-29 Thread Mickey Quenzer
Hi Cheryl:

Do you use it for a Mac? If so, does it have the apple media keys?

It's kind of hard sometimes to get that detail from the advertisements.

Actually, I have the same question with the solar powered logitech keyboard
which Ricardo told us about.

I'm not Ricardo, but my IOGear multi-link bluetooth keyboard can switch
between six devices. All of them can be on at the same time and one switches
between them by using the fn key and the corresponding number (1-6). But of
course when buying a keyboard one needs to look at the key size and keyboard
layout and whatever else one wants in a keyboard. I really like my IOGear;
in fact I have one that sits on my desk and one that travels in my purse and
they are both set up the same way to access all my devices, but some might
not like the layout or key size or something.
