RE: Jambox question

2013-12-12 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Hi Don,

I can't confirm the fuzzy sound, but I have had my Jambox for probably 2
years and the battery definitely does not last so long any more although
mine still holds a charge for maybe a couple of hours. I suggest you contact
Jawbone and explain what it's doing to them and see what they suggest.

Regards,
Sieghard

Subject: Jambox question

I bought the small Jambox about two years ago on sale. Now I have a problem
with it and need input from other Jambox users before I decide how to deal
with this issue.

On the surface, it seems that the battery won't hold a charge because the
sound is extremely fuzzy even immediately after a full charge.
Also, the battery dies quickly and becomes completely non functional.

So now for the question. Since the battery is not user replaceable, I need
to ascertain whether the problem is the battery or the Jambox itself. So if
others have experienced similar Jambox problems, please tell me if the
problem is battery related or not. If it is, then I will take the thing
down to batteries plus.

Thanks much.

Re: Jambox question

2013-12-12 Thread SSEric
I don't have a fuzzy sound nor his, so much as a fluttering his? My jam box
does still keep a charge rather well.

I did recently have my son try downloading an update. This is after almost 2
years of having the jam box. What ever the update was, it does not seem to have
made any difference in performance.

I must say the hiss is mostly noticeable only when using voice over. If I am
listening to music or radio feeds, it does not seem to be there or is not
noticeable.
