RE: Recording from the iphone

2018-08-30 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
There are not any apps which will do this directly on your phone.
The only way to do this is to use an app where you typically have to pay a fee,
then when you make a call or receive a call you want to record you open the
app, the app uses your conference call feature to make another call to
whichever service you use and the call is then recorded, it is basically a
three-way call and if you already answered a call you want to record, you have
to ask the other person to hold on because after you open the app and until the
connection is made and the calls are merged the caller will be on hold.
Also, depending on what country or, if in the US, which state you live in you
must let the other person know the call is being recorded, most of these
services make an announcement or play a tone every so often so the other person
knows they are recorded.
The only other option is a separate hardware device you can purchase where you
basically connect said device to your headphone jack and the audio goes through
the device where it is recorded.
The easiest solution if you want to record a call is to put it on speaker and
to put your iPhone next to a good old tape recorder or, if you have an iPad or
iPod Touch or digital recorder of any sort you can simply record the audio that
way.
I did hear that Skype may introduce a call recording feature in a future update
and in that case using Skype to record a call would be the easiest especially
if it is an outgoing call and of couorse I believe if you get a Google Voice
number you can also record calls, in fact, most Voip apps like Bria or
Groundwire will let you do this.

Sieghard

Does anyone know if there are any accessible apps that will let you be on a
call and record that call at the same time? The Apple store told me there is
nothing on the phone itself that will let you do that, but there were some
third party apps that might do that.

I figured that this may be the case. Tip for you. If you're up at 3:00 AM

You'd have to pull it up either in iHeart or on tapin on your computer.

You can listen at anytime on gameday audio on your computer. I love the

Yes, all 4 of them. But, I do agree with you that it is very difficult for

Re: Recording from the iPhone to the iPhone?

2013-04-30 Thread Sean Paul
I've never tried this but, perhaps you can. Open up a recording app, start a
game & see if it records. I do know you can record skype calls this way but,
other audio I'm not sure. If it works for you, let me know please.

Subject: Recording from the iPhone to the iPhone?

I would like to be able to record baseball games from the at bat app. Is
there any way of doing this on a single I-device?

All thanks for any pointers!

Eric
