Can you transfer shows from your dvr to computer? Can you easily find the shows 
you’ve recorded on the dvr with your remote, or iphone apps?

I had to have a tech come back out today to fix a phone situation, so I 
had him set up the remotes and I told him how.

Seems if you ok and save things would be set but maybe not.
I doubt it works though because i can't get my SAP to work on my TV.
I wish I would be pleasantly surprised and find it does work.

Bullcrap!

They do for some channels.  The problem is, it is about five levels deep in 
the menus.

On my remote:
1.  Hit menu.
2.  Arrow five times to channel options.
3.  Down arrow three times to Audio Language.  Hit Ok.
4.  I think it is on Spanish at that point.  I think Spanish may also be the 
audio-described channel where that is available.

Because it is such a pain to use, I rarely do.  But, those instructions were 
from the AT&T Tech and I verified it as the installation was completed.

Now, if you have a different model DVR, your menus could be different.

Can SAP be turned on using either the uverse or remote apps? I have a
button for it on one of my tv remotes but it doesn't do anything. I'm

There is a UVerse app that allows you to schedule recordings.  Just look for 
the one that says Uverse.

There is also one that is a talking remote, but you need to enter in your 
receiver ID on-screen to get it to work.

The UVerse app is decent enough, although sometimes, searching for a show 
can be a pain.

Hi there that is correct. The remote tab in the U-verse app is not accessible. 
However if you get the Easy Remote U-verse app, it's a separate app that I gave 
the list a link to in an earlier message, it will be completely accessible. You 
will need sighted assistance to pair the app with the receiver but once it's 
done it works great.

Hi there yes I agree it works quite well. One thing I've noticed is that at 
least with me unless I'm doing something wrong, if I choose a program that has 
been recorded over a period of three days, choosing the older one with the easy 
remote still makes me choose the newer one no matter what. For example if I 
have a program which I recorded on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, and choose 
the Wednesday one, no matter what I do it seems to only choose the Friday one. 
Have you seen something like this?

As far as the iPhone, the app is a bit clunky.  You can schedule a recording 
if you use the search tab and type in the name of the show you want to 
record, or a general descriptor like Boxing if you want to find the 
different boxing episodes.

I can't get the app to display upcoming content by channel nor can I use the 
browse function.

I can bring up the list of shows I've recorded but I can't get them to start 
playing using the phone's interface.

Luckily, with the remote, if you press the view recordings button, the 
recordings you've made are listed in chronological order with the newest at 
the top.  You can then start playing that one, or down-arrow to the 
next-newest recording, etc.

When you are done playing them, you hit the stop button.  There is a menu 
that comes up.  The first option is to resume the recording at the point you 
stopped, hitting down arrow goes to start playing from the beginning, and 
another press of the down-arrow will delete the current recording if you 
press Ok.  If you hit down-arrow again, you can delete all your recordings.
