Rob, if you do what you describe, that is hijacking a thread. The reason it's caught is due to the thread header which is placed in replied messages. If you have ore than one email addi, tabbing back once to the From field and you get a selector to choose the right, hwich is to say, the addi you're subscribed by. then tab down and do the rest. The number of times I fell for that! So yes, I click reply, then clear out all previous content and subject and start over. I have more than one e-mail address, so that happens to me as well. If I get the message back, I know that it has been sent from another address than the one under which I have subscribed. Sounds like you're not getting the address down correctly. I'm not sure what email client you're using, but I'd suggest using a message from this list and adding the address for this list to your contact list. That may help.
