I believe that you access the AccessibleWorld rooms to participate in the
programs throught the TC Conference App. I am not aware of an
AccessibleWorld app.

2016-06-14 Thread Michelle Bernstein
Hi Dave,

AccessibleWorld has programs for the blind and visually impaired community.
There is a weekly Tek Talk program on Monday evenings where vendors come to
talk about their latest devices, software, etc.
There are also several book groups which meet on a monthly basis. You
access the AccessibleWorld programs with your computer and speak to other
group members
with a computer microphone.
Here is the website:

It appears that the Accessible World site has undergone some recent
renovations.

There is a new notice when you try to enter the various rooms which
directs users how to download the plug in software for computers with
Windows, with Macs, with Android devices and with IOS devices.

Has anyone successfully listened to a recent Accessible World program
using a Mac Computer, Iphone or Android device? The Accessible World
programs have always been easily accessed and compatible with Windows
software. Here is the new notice:

"To fully enjoy the multimedia experience in web-conferencing, first
time participants on Windows must install the plugin once. Please
download and install the plugin if you have not already done so. If
you need more information about plugin click overview above.

First time participants must install the plugin once.

Windows users can use the Windows Client.
Click here for download the Windows Client.

Macintosh users can use the Mac Client.
Click here for download and instructions for the Mac Client.

Android users can use the Android Client.
Click here for download and instructions for Android Client.

iPhone and iPad users can use the iOS Client.
Click here for download and instructions for iOS Client. "

well when I upgraded the ipad it did some strange stuff to it. It took
me a while to get it unlocked, then it threw me out of orientation lock
and I couldn't figure out how to fix that; then, when I write somethin
on the braille display it doesn't change when I write something else,
and also when I opened the radium app it wanted me to upgrade to gaming
and when I said no now it's locked into a weird mode i can't do anything
with.
My phone, for all the problems I was having, is now working just fine,
the upgrade went and I can use the radium app as always.

Weird stuff.
