Well, earbuds are certainly not an option if you were hearing aid. And I do so they aren't. Hi, Here is the original message from Chip Orange. I grabbed it from the archive. : great earphone for GPS Chip Orange Sat, 24 Jun 2017 14:31:09 -0700 Hi all, Just wanted to share that I found an external earphone for just one ear from C. Crane which is great for being able to listen to a voice (such as GPS instructions) while still allowing ambient sounds to easily be heard. It's very comfortable, it has an extra strong cable and firm mounting on your ear. It's $10 from C. Crane at the link below: http://www.ccrane.com/Over-The-Ear-Headphone-Speaker I am really pleased with this. Also, as best as I can judge, it should work with a hearing aid . even if the aid sticks out of the ear, the external speaker of this easily can be pushed outward and still fit comfortably and securely. I read about this in the new book from Judy Dixon (from NBP) called "Go Where You Want to Go" (although she says you should be able to get it from Pirkins, I wasn't able to). Yes, there are lots. You can spend very little or quite a lot. Several years ago I bought the Bose Mobile headphones because I wanted really good sound but also wanted the inline microphone. They were on sale for $180. They still sound great, though the leather covering the ear cushions is wearing rather thin. These cover the whole ear, so not good if you want to hear sounds around you.
