The purpose of a Westminster clock is to let you know the time by the pattern of the chiming at the quarter, half, three quarters and top of the hour with a full chime count meaning if it's 1 o'clock you hear the full Westminster melody plus a chime strike of 1. chime will do this at least I think that is what the clock is called is chimes and you can set it so you can control if you want it to go off at night or not that’s why I like it *** God has a plan for me.
