RE: Creating folders on an IPhone4S

2014-01-30 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
Well said, David, and just for Hartismere’s information, I think Steve may have
a hard time growing up unless he can rise from the grave.

I also wonder which of the completely inaccessible Windows Phones he is
planning to get to replace his completely accessible iPhone 4S and if Apple had
really screwed this up so badly why is the iPhone the singlemost popular
smartphone out there?

He or she could of course just use Dropbox to put all the text files, PDF’s and
so on in folders on the computer to then access those same folders on the
iPhone.

Regards,

Sieghard

than learning how to use it as it has been designed."

The fact is, iPhone is different. For security reasons, it does not have the
same file structure that Windows has. Instead, each app creates its own file

Re: Creating folders on an IPhone4S

2013-06-30 Thread Christopher Chaltain

As far as I know, it isn't possible to create folders in the Messages app.

If you want to create folders and place your games apps in that folder
then follow Dawn's instructions below, i.e. double tap and hold on a
game app and move it over on top of another game app. When you lift your
finger, a folder will be created with those two apps in it. It'll
probably already be titled Games, but if not, you can edit this.

When you say you want to save messages in a folder, are you talking
about text messages or email messages or phone messages or what?
Alternatively, are you asking how to create a folder and move an app,
like the messages app, into that folder?
