Hi all. Why not just use voice memos? It's already on the phone and you can hear VO talking as the recording is happening. I use it to record my class lectures all the time. Re: Need to record a meeting using the iPhone
Hi, did you follow the tutorials? Voice Over is sent to the headphones when it's recording, however there is a 2 second delay when you start recording so that Voice Over isn't recorded. By default, voice over is places on the pause button. So, when you are done recording, just double-tap anywhere on the screen. Of course this doesn't work if you have tapped around, changing the selection by default. I hope this makes sense. If you need extra help with this, write me off list and I'll be happy to do what I can. I'm a recent convert to List Recorder and find it amazingly powerful. -- Raul A. RE: Need to record a meeting using the iPhone
Kimber, Voiceover is routed to the earpiece as soon as you start recording. I assume they do this so Voiceover is not picked up in the recording. I actually have been meaning to write to the developer because one thing I think they should implement is to start recording and to pause recording with a 2-finger double tap. I also wouldn't mind seeing a shake to start/pause recording as you get with Voxy. They also have been announcing for a long time that in a future update it would be possible to append to an existing recording and I wonder when they expect to have an update out with that feature. There are some pretty comprehensive podcasts on www.applevis.com about List Recorder and their sample files are pretty good once you get the hang of it. After that you can delete them all. Re: Need to record a meeting using the iPhone
Hi, VO volume is lower because you probably don't want VO to be the main thing you hear on your recording. Try using earphones when recording. Also when you begin recording, the pause button has focus, so all you have to do is double tap with one finger and recording will pause and I believe VO will be back at normal volume. Re: Need to record a meeting using the iPhone
I found the upgrade button and plunked down the 7.99 for the full version. Seems a little steep but it does have a lot of funtionality. One question, when I start recording VO seems to get rather flaky. I hear something being read as I drag my finger over the screen, but the volume is very very low which makes it difficult to find the pause button. Any thoughts on what's going on with that? Re: Need to record a meeting using the iPhone
how about using dropvox. it does cost, but it isn't that much. Just go to the app store and search for it. then it will automatically upload to dropbox if you have it.n Jul 16, 2012, at 11:31 AM, Kimber Gardner wrote: > Okay, I bought list recorder. You must have downloaded the wrong version. I believe the free version records for 10 seconds only while the paid version removes this limitation. - Original Message - From: "Kimber Gardner" To: Sent: Monday, July 16, 2012 4:31 PM Subject: Re: Need to record a meeting using the iPhone Okay, I bought list recorder.
