There are some Web sites that use dynimic HTML (updating constantly) where WebVisum has problems. And there are some others where the site detects the use of a third-party tool to solve the CAPTCHA and rejects it. Fortunately, these are in the minority, but of course significant if you have to use one of them in the course of an online purchase: However, WebVisum will solve most of the CAPTCHAs you put it to. Hi Rose, Another option I would try is to see whether PayPal could text you the code. On some sites I have seen a feature where if one enters their number they can get the site to text them the code which they enter into the site in lieu of needing to fill out the information on the computer. I think this is a navigation problem with the PayPal. I had a similar problem the other day signing on using the web site. I am not exactly sure what I did, but I succeeded after a few tries. When you have all the information filled in, try tabbing to the button to proceed (continue, pay now, or whatever). Before pressing the enter or spacebar, try moving away from the button and then coming back to the button. Then activate the button. Good luck. Rose, Have you considered trying Firefox with Webvisum for solving captchas? I don’t think I have ever had a captcha it hasn’t solved. Another option might be for you to install the Be My Eyes app, then when you are at the screen with the captcha see if you can get somebody on the line in Be My Eyes who might be able to read the captcha for you. Indeed braille must never die, but Apple is keeping it alive better than any other mobile phone maker in the market. I suspect that when tactile touch screens become feasible, Apple accessibility will be the ones to turn the iPhone itself into a braille display of sorts.
