RE: Problem with updating APPS using the IPhone APP Store
Well I thought it was supposed to be an easy to use camera app. Unfortunately for me, the only app on my phone that uses the camera and actually does what is advertised to do is Look Tel Money Reader. Tap Tap See did tell me I was looking at a can, then allowed me to snap more pictures with the can in different positions, but then told me the camera role was full to wait, I set the phone down for about 45 minutes and got nothing. I just don't understand why so many can do things with the camera and other than this issue the only other thing I identified was the dishwasher when I was trying to get a box on top of the dishwasher. Once an a year and a half Digit Eyes identified a can of cola, so I have managed three things with various apps, different app, maybe another i item identified and I might add took a picture of my husband and the dog, dog all there but the top of my husband head is not, that is the closest I have been to success, with lights on. OCR on the phone, it isn't happening for me not once. Oh, I forgot, I have gotten a few camera shots of the clip on my Otter box and a few of my hand when I did not mean to do anything with the camera. It is just embarrassing that I can't use a camera to any good at all. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Hayri Tulumcu Sent: Thursday, January 31, 2013 7:47 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Problem with updating APPS using the IPhone APP Store what is tap tap see? - Original Message - From: Tom Lange lang...@gmail.com To: viphone@googlegroups.com Sent: Thursday, January 31, 2013 6:42 AM Subject: Re: Problem with updating APPS using the IPhone APP Store Hi, I installed IOS 6.1 yesterday afternoon, and having seen this latest thread about updating using the app store, I got curious and tried individual updates, including Tap Tap See, Around Me, Digit Eyes and Fandango. Re: Problem with updating APPS using the IPhone APP Store
Hayri Tulumcu, TapTapSee is a free iOS-based app that was created for the Visually Impaired and the Blind. It allows the user to take a picture of an object and have that object identified through audio. The app works with iPhone's VoiceOver.
