Re: Took the Fleksy Plunge, but the Phone is acting weird
Eileen We've noticed this thread. Thanks for bringing it up. We've fixed most of the known bugs in the coming update, but this is one we haven't heard before. Mind getting in touch with us at supp...@fleksy.com? A support expert will help you with the problem, and if there's a problem with Fleksy itself, we will fix it. For my first attempt, I was quite pleased and proud of myself that I could input words accurately about 50% of the time. When I was finished, I triple tapped and that is when Fleksy went berserk. VoiceOver is talking, but the gestures are functioning like a sighted user. An example, I can highlight an app and then remove my finger and the app will open. I tried going to the app switcher to remove and close out all apps, but when I do a double-tap and hold it only opens the app. I believe the only thing left for me to do is a soft reset with the power and home button pressed simultaneously. Here are my specs: iPhone4, 32 GB, and 5.0.1. At this time, I will just wait until ios 6 comes out to upgrade. Any suggestions or reasons for this to occur would be most appreciative. Also, I was wondering if I need to contact the developers to report this bug. Eileen -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the VIPhone Google Group. I, myself, always remove fleksy from the app switcher when I'm not using it. I've never had the problem you are describing at all, though. That's strange. Re: Took the Fleksy Plunge, but the Phone is acting weird
I to had some pretty weird problems after the first time I launched fleksy, part of which I assumed were caused by the loading deal you gotta wait for the first time. I didn't have the same problem as you but have had this happen to be a long time before fleksy was released while instead, my voiceover lost speech and I had to wait the 90 seconds crap some of us sometimes run into wen reading large portions of text. The first and only time I had the issue you speak of here was after I'd lost speech and toggled VO a few times and it started speaking again. Even though I had speech, none of the voiceover gestures worked as they should. I could touch an icon and the app associated with that icon would launch. I had to toggle VO to get it back to normal. Back to fleksy though, I've found that as irritating as it may be to wait for the load thing, this keeps my phone from running into any other weird problems. So far, I've not had any noticeable drain keeping it in the app switcher which keeps me from having to wait for the load every time. My phone is an IPhone4, 16 gigabyte version running latest IOS5.1.1 Take care.
