Re: an accessible weather app
I just use Braille Wunderground and put it on the desktop. It will appear like any other app except it's not an app, it's just a link to the web page on your iDevice. Re: an accessible weather app
Hello. When you first open the app, it is usually focused on locations. Do a one finger swipe to the right until you get to settings. Do a one-finger double tap on settings. Once it opens, swipe to the right until you land on notifications. One-finger double tap to select it. Once it opens, swipe to the right and single finger double tap on the notifications you want to be alerted of. When done, you can return to the previous screen by finding the back button on the top left. This is a great app. Regards, Gadget Girl Sent from my Apple gadget. RE: an accessible weather app
If you have the NFB-Newsline app, I think there's an Accu-Weather link under Publications, Publications Options, and then your State information channel. It has a lot of detail, and definitely includes Pollen Count It gives US Weather Alerts, too, but does not push any information to your phone; the app has to be open to hear these. information. It's only good for your registered home area, though. -Original Message- From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of Regina Alvarado Sent: Friday, April 25, 2014 7:48 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: an accessible weather app Yes, they ruined the weather channel app. Worse for me was that I was able to get pollen alerts just as I could get severe weather alerts with the app. Boy am I going to miss that part of it especially.
