RE: another question concerning moving apps with a bluetooth keyboard

2014-05-02 Thread Sieghard Weitzel
I would be happy to stand corrected, but I don't think you can move apps
with a Bluetooth keyboard or a braille display. Maybe Jen can explain how
she does this, but I think the only way is to do the double tap and hold on
the touch screen and then dragging them where you want. With a bit of
practice and patience this is not so hard to do.

Sieghard

Re: another question concerning moving apps with a bluetooth keyboard

2014-05-02 Thread Jennie Facer
You can move apps with a Bluetooth keyboard for sure with the vo plus m. It
picks up the app, then you navigate to where you want the app to go, then press
vo plus m again. That is how I had to do it with my iPad mini, because it
doesn't want to open folders very well.

correction control+option+m opens the status bar

shift+control+options+m is the move command. I tried that and there is no
blank space to drop the app other than on top of another app and I do not
want to do that.

If we can't look at ourselves, and ask, why? then where does the learning
start?

Re: another question concerning moving apps with a bluetooth keyboard

2014-05-02 Thread Robert Doc Wright
you can move apps from page to page to drop in an existing folder by
pressing
shift control options m on the app
move to the folder you wish to drop it in and press the up and down cursors
to drop it.
If you need to creat a folder from 2 apps use the move command, arrow to the
app you wish to create a folder with and press the move command again. It
will create the folder and place you in the field of the folder name in case
you wish to change it.

You can move apps with a Bluetooth keyboard for sure with the vo plus m. It
picks up the app, then you navigate to where you want the app to go, then
press vo plus m again. That is how I had to do it with my iPad mini, because
it doesn't want to open folders very well.
