Re: iPad mail appearing like iPhone mail
I just tried Mail in poortrit orientation, and sure enough, the iPad Mini does resemble the iPhone's appearance. Turn it to where it is in landscape mode, then lock the orientation. That will fix it for your client. Did you look in the accessibility settings and check if any of the settings were changed? Re: iPad mail appearing like iPhone mail
I've never seen this happen, but might it be due to the iPad's orientation? If not, a simple power cycling might be in order, though I imagine you tried that already. RE: iPad mail appearing like iPhone mail
Hi Raul, I don't have an iPad Mini or, for that matter an iPad, but are you holding it portrait or landscape? I thought the iPad Mini displayed mail full-screen in portrait orientation and only used the split screen in landscape orientation. If so then I assume the orientation lock has been turned on and it can't switch to landscape mode even if you hold it that way. Not sure if your client has confirgured the side switch to act as orientation lock or a mute switch, but you might want to check that. I'm working with a client who has an iPad mini using iOS 6.1.3 and the mail is behaving like the iPhone mail. Meaning that the split screen doesn't appear to be there. In order to get back to the list of messages I have to double-tap the inbox button and then the list of messages shows up.
