RE: Siri's stubbornness

2021-04-01 Thread negi4a
Hmmm, Siri just went back to normal earlier today. I’m very happy because it
saves me so much time, swiping and typing.

Aside for playing music, forwarding and back warding by time or a song, I use
it for playing podcasts, checking the time, open apps, search for apps in the
Appstore, search google, defining and spelling words, initiate calls, managing
alarms and reminders, create events, sending messages or sometimes emails,
convert measures and so on. Implementing Siri in apps and shortcuts makes it
pleasant experience. I think Siri is a bit underestimated. Fact, it could be
much better. and I hope Apple will succeed in improving and making it at least
useful as the competitors.

Something is definitely going on with Siri. Last week I couldn't even have
Siri open an app, but it fixed itself after about a week.

Hi,

Siri is very stubborn last few days. Till a week ago I had no problems adding
song or albums to my custom playlist using just my voice. Now Siri says “Sorry,
I wasn’t able to add so and so to your playlist”. It was very convenient, but
now each time I must go to the phone, unlock, and go through all this process
manually. I didn’t change any setting. Is there an explanation for this
stubbornness? Or do I need to do something to restore the previous state.

This discussion reminds me why I like the iPhone so much.
There are a variety of ways to do things so pretty much everyone's style can

Maybe if you had pages of apps, I've only got about 3 pages worth of apps on my
iPhone, so it isn't that hard to find the one I want, especially if I go to
either the top or bottom of my screen when I begin to look for my app.

I do not ordinarily use Siri for opening apps either, Joshua, for the very same

I never use Siri to open apps on my iPhone. This is because Siri can open
apps, but she can't close them as well. If Siri could close apps as well as
open them, I might use this feature more. I never find it hard to get to one
of my apps and just double tap it to open it. I use Siri most for making Phone
