Re: Strange Dong noise in maps tracking with headings iOS 7

2013-10-17 Thread David Chittenden
Given the noise of the surrounding traffic, I might not have noticed them. I
will test again this weekend.

RE: Strange Dong noise in maps tracking with headings iOS 7

2013-10-17 Thread DJ
I don't usually use the Maps app, but after reading your message I opened it
up and turned tracking on with headings and sure enough the sound was there
about every 4 or 5 seconds, even while the phone was placed on a table and
my hand nowhere near it.

I am currently discussing with apple accessibility an issue I reported and
they cannot clearly verify it or don't seem to get my description. SO, I am

the screen. FOr me they repeat at constant intervals when stationary and I
think also when I am walking but can't bet on this. Time is about 4 sec.
