Taking a screen shot -Was Hello, just joined and a question.
Hello and welcome to the list. To take a screenshot on your phone get to the point where you want the screenshot to be taken. Then press the home and sleep button at the same time. We didn't do this it will take a picture of whatever is on your screen and it will add it to your camera roll. The next step is for you to email that picture as an attachment to whoever needs it. If you need more details let us know. I also changed the subject to better be found by people who look for emails based on subject line. Hi taking screen shots works sometime and sometimes it results in locking the screen. Performing the command perfectly but sometimes it doesn't work. It is a bug. When ever You face this problem restart your phone and it should work fine for sometime. Facing this problem frequently on my mobile. I reported it to apple too. Can I clarify?... press and hold Home, click Power, release Home. Be sure each step of this is done, a quick click of the two doesn't do it for me most the time either. But done as described, hasn't failed me either. Hi, I honestly can say I've never encountered such a bug, and haven't heard anyone else talk about it. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist on your device of course. I just took 25 screen shots in a row on my iPhone 5, and another 25 on my iPad mini. It worked 100% of the time. If you locked the screen, then you did not manage to press the two buttons at the same time. It takes some practice, but when it works you will hear the camera shutter sound.
