Re: Talking Reminders

2019-05-31 Thread Marie N.
Oh, thanks so much. I tried over and over to delete it within the app and
found it impossible even though I was told that was the way it had to be
done. How simple this was.

As far as canceling a recurring reminder on the echo, all you need to know
is the time. I just tried it on mine, and this is what I did.

1, Said, Lady A, cancel reminder at, and the time of the reminder.
2, Lady A will let you know that this is a recurring reminder, and ask you
if you want to delete all occurrences, you just need to reply yes.

3, Lady A will then confirm that the reminder has been canceled.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your reply. Actually when the reminder is alarming, that’s
when she wants to hear it say remind me to eat my lunch. Or
remind me to go to the store. Or it’s time to make that phone call. She
doesn’t need to use her voice to set up the reminder. She
wants to hear a voice prompt when she is being reminded. I hope my

Hello,
Does anyone know of a reminder app that you can use your voice? I'm
asking for a friend where she can use her voice when the alarm goes
off. Thanks so much.

I believe this is more along the lines of what you wanted to know?

No. But she does have a brain injury and needs to to be reminded by voice and
would prefer it to be an iPhone app. Thank you all for your help.

Re: Talking Reminders

2019-05-30 Thread Anna Dresner
Hi Sharonda,

You can use Siri to create reminders, so that's a way to set them up with your
voice. Reminders play an alarm sound and then stop, so you don't need to do
anything when the alarms go off.

HTH,
Anna

Talking Reminders

2019-05-30 Thread Sharonda Greenlaw
Hello,
Does anyone know of a reminder app that you can use your voice? I'm
asking for a friend where she can use her voice when the alarm goes
off. Thanks so much.
