RE: Triple Tap Home

2022-06-15 Thread Nicola Sanders
Hi Karen,
The setting is called Accessibility Shortcut, and you can find it in Settings,
Accessibility. It's the last setting but one. Double tap on Accessibility
Shortcut and set it to VoiceOver, and you should be good to go. Let me know if
that doesn't make sense.
Best
Nicky

Subject: Triple Tap Home

I had to reset my 1st generation SE yesterday, with the help of Apple
Accessibility. I discovered today that the triple tap of the Home button no
longer turns VoiceOver off and on. Fortunately I was able to do it with the
help of Siri.

Would someone please tell me where to locate that setting? I know I've seen
it, but can't seem to locate it now that I need it.

Thanks.

Go to Settings, Accessibility and down to the bottom to double tap on
Accessibility Shortcut. Go down the list and double tap on what you want the
triple click of Home button to activate!

can'not turn off voice over with triple tap home, just goes to app switcher

2013-12-05 Thread Regina Alvarado
In a bit of trouble with 5s. For some reason I can no longer turn off VO with
home triple tap. Have tried reboot with home and off/on, turned phone off and
on and took all out of app switcher. Any other thoughts? Saw this with my iPad
before it crashed so bad! Hope I don't have that big a problem! At least this
time thanks to Sieghard explaining some of iTunes I am not panicking, just
hoping there is another way to fix before I need to wipe my phone and start all
over again! Thanks for any help in advance.

Have you checked that your accessibility shortcut (the triple click of
the home button) is still set to toggle VoiceOver on and off? Go into
Settings - General - Accessibility and make sure accessibility
shortcut, all the way at the bottom, is set to VoiceOver.

RE: no wifi or bluetooth and no triple tap home, grrr

2013-11-06 Thread M. Taylor
Hello Regina,

Please try not to be unhappy. I, as do many others on this list, truly
understand about failed technology.

Last month, I lost both my router and one of my network attached storage
devices, taking with it over half a terabyte of data.

But, sooner or later, things do get better.

In one month you will have a new iPhone that you are going to adore.

I've seen so many reports of people having this dimmed WiFi button issue,
lately, on their 4 S phones. It's so coincidental that it would occur at
the launch of what is, effectively, a new era on the iOS platform.

Hang In There,

Mark
