Re: Using Amazon Cloud Player
If you have chosen to use the Amazon cloud player, then your music will not be stored on your computer, unless you change your Amazon music preferences and buy it again, saving it to the computer instead. I don't know how usable the cloud player is, though I did hear recently that it was accessible. Re: Using Amazon Cloud Player
Thanks Wayne. Actually, I haven't found it to be accessible at all. For example, if you want to download something specific, and you hit the spacebar which should check the appropriate box, nothing happens. Also, it seems to be impossible to select entire albums. Now on the other hand, when purchasing a song or album, you can choose to download it right away. But if you wait till later and come back to it through the cloud player icon on the desktop, you're out of luck, or, at least, I seem to be. I guess what I'm wondering is this: is there another way to check items you want than hitting the enter key or spacebar to select it? Thanks. Re: Using Amazon Cloud Player
I am a JAWS user and have used the Cloud player. I have had to use a bunch of JAWS cursoring and left mouse clicking to get this to work. You can do it, but it's a work of art. I'm not near my computer that has this program on it, but I know with JAWS it is doable--but not easily. Sorry, I'm not more help. Robin is right. Neither do you have to buy your music twice to get it to your computer. However, it is a lot of hard work (with JAWS) but it's doable. Re: Using Amazon Cloud Player
Hi, My apologies to the moderators as I fear I’m risking violating the topics constraints of this list thus I’ll be brief and shant write of it any more. but if one accesses the amazon cloud player as opposed to the drive downloading is quite a bit easier than trying to download from the drive itself. I hope that helps make life easier for someone. Robin From: Sharonda Greenlaw Sent: Tuesday, July 10, 2012 1:26 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Re: Using Amazon Cloud Player Robin is right. Re: Using Amazon Cloud Player
System access is a screen reader like jaws and window eyes. To learn all about it go to www.satogo.com. Does this perhaps mean that the cloud player isn't compatible with System Access? I can't get it to recognize that I'm in an edit field so that I can search the cloud drive. Bottom line: Long live Dropbox! On 7/10/12, Sharonda Greenlaw sbgreen...@gmail.com wrote: I am a JAWS user and have used the Cloud player. I have had to use a bunch of JAWS cursoring and left mouse clicking to get this to work. You can do it, but it's a work of art. I'm not near my computer that has this program on it, but I know with JAWS it is doable--but not easily. Sorry, I'm not more help. Thanks. I get to the buttons and when I click on them, nothing happens. I've written to System Access support about this. But I've received no response to correct this problem.
