Re: Using Amazon Cloud Player

2012-07-10 Thread Wayne Merritt
If you have chosen to use the Amazon cloud player, then your music
will not be stored on your computer, unless you change your Amazon
music preferences and buy it again, saving it to the computer instead.
I don't know how usable the cloud player is, though I did hear
recently that it was accessible.

Re: Using Amazon Cloud Player

2012-07-10 Thread Duane Steele
Thanks Wayne. Actually, I haven't found it to be accessible at all.
For example, if you want to download something specific, and you hit
the spacebar which should check the appropriate box, nothing happens.
Also, it seems to be impossible to select entire albums. Now on the
other hand, when purchasing a song or album, you can choose to
download it right away. But if you wait till later and come back to it
through the cloud player icon on the desktop, you're out of luck, or,
at least, I seem to be. I guess what I'm wondering is this: is there
another way to check items you want than hitting the enter key or
spacebar to select it? Thanks.

Peace and Blessings, Duane

that if you have cloud drive enabled your purchases automatically get saved
there but as soon as a purchase is completed you are given the option to
download to a pc as well. So it isn’t necessarily an either or nor do you

Hi,
My apologies to the moderators as I fear I’m risking violating the topics
constraints of this list thus I’ll be brief and shant write of it any more. but
if one accesses the amazon cloud player as opposed to the drive downloading is
quite a bit easier than trying to download from the drive itself.
I hope that helps make life easier for someone.

What is system access?

I'm using System Access, and when I told them of my dilemma, for
the
first time ever, they didn't write back. Does this perhaps mean
that
the cloud player isn't compatible with System Access? I can't get
it
to recognize that I'm in an edit field so that I can search the
cloud

drive. Bottom line: Long live Dropbox!

You can do it, but it's a work of art. I'm not near my computer
that
has this program on it, but I know with JAWS it is doable--but
not

easily. Sorry, I'm not more help.

Thanks Wayne. Actually, I haven't found it to be accessible at
all.
For example, if you want to download something specific, and you
hit
the spacebar which should check the appropriate box, nothing
happens.
Also, it seems to be impossible to select entire albums. Now on
the

other hand, when purchasing a song or album, you can choose to
download it right away. But if you wait till later and come back
to it
through the cloud player icon on the desktop, you're out of
luck, or,
at least, I seem to be. I guess what I'm wondering is this: is
there
another way to check items you want than hitting the enter key
or

spacebar to select it? Thanks.

Peace and Blessings, Duane

I don't know how usable the cloud player is, though I did hear

I've

System access is a screen reader like jaws and window eyes. To learn all about
it go to www.satogo.com.
