I agree that the bands and the extra magnetic charger Apple sells are over 
priced. The watch itself I don't find that much over priced. If you compare it 
to other good waterproof watches or to a good quality braille watch it's 
actually not too bad at all. Using it as a speakerphone actually works really 
well and the quality is amazingly good. I also love the silent way to check the 
time via vibrations and some of the health/fitness applications.

No you can't. Get a watch if you care about being alerted to notifications on 
your wrist. Other than that it's ridiculously restrictive and overpriced.

Is there a way of disabling that cover to lock feature on the Watch? It
seems to get triggered by almost anything that passes over the watch
screen, and this is extremely inconvenient for situations such as
recording when locking the screen will stop a recording (huge fail, Apple).
