Re: bluetooth headset question
The lack of a connector is probably the main reason I won't get the apple airpods. If I'm spending that kind of money for Bluetooth earphones, I sure as heck don't want to risk losing one or both while I'm out walking. RE: bluetooth headset question
I’d much rather have the neck collar ones I have from LG, as they have buttons for controlling everything, and they don’t block your ears when not being used, and there’s no chance in losing it. It also has a vibrating motor built-in, and one way it’s used is to vibrate if you walk away from your phone and get out of bluetooth range (due to leaving it somewhere), then it vibrates to let you know that you’re leaving your phone. I just ordered the model of bluetooth earbuds Anker puts out, as I've been very satisfied with some of their other bluetooth products. We'll see if it was a good investment, but their products are relatively inexpensive. RE: bluetooth headset question
I am very happy with the kind which sits lightly on your shoulders, surrounding your neck like a horse-shoe shape. The model is the LG HBS 900. You pul out an ear-bud on a wire from either side of the horse-shoe (or both for stereo), and when done you touch a button and they automatically retract back into the unit, so they don’t block your ear when not in use. One side of the horse-shoe has buttons for answering and making calls, talking to Siri, volume, etc. The other side has buttons for play/pause, forward and backward, and controlling the equalizer (all for playing audio). Since it’s not sitting on your head or your ear when not in use, it’s very low-key in a professional environment (and so was chosen by my wife for how well it looked when being worn). If you buy one, I have a set of notes telling a blind person what each control does, and I have the text file version of the pdf manual, and would be glad to send them to you; write me at: acora...@comcast.net Good luck, Chip Orange From: viphone@googlegroups.com [mailto:viphone@googlegroups.com] On Behalf Of denise colley Sent: Sunday, November 27, 2016 1:37 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: bluetooth headset question What is currently the best Bluetooth headset to get for an iphone 6+? I think you will get as many answers as there are people on this list. Kind of like asking if a Chevy is better than a Ford.
