Their are a couple of items which can be checked. Make sure that you
are not checking all songs but rather let me choose. Then you will see
a list of songs in your iTunes library.

copying music from iTunes library to iPhone

I'm having a senior moment here trying to remember how to copy a song from 
my iTunes library to my iPhone?  Anyone who can remember I would appreciate 
if you can send me the directions again.  Thanks!

again as I have made
some changes and the thing does not appear to have kept up with them
