Information on the four down crossword puzzle game
Hi all, just to let you know, the four down crossword puzzle game is now available on the iPhone. At one time I believe it was only available on the iPad. It is the word for F space O space you space R and then the word down it is two words. It is by Daniel Wilkins I think his name is. Hi Pamela, I'm the developer of Four Down http://deftmethods.com/apps/fourdown. I think we've exchanged emails in the past. I haven't been checking this list as often as I'd like, so apologies for the delayed response. Thanks for taking the time to ask about the problem you're having. In the future, please feel free to email me directly (a...@deftmethods.com) so that I can respond a little quicker! Unfortunately, I don't think I can reproduce the problem. I can swipe down with a single finger to step through the across clues and the down clues letter-by-letter. Is this what you were referring to? Perhaps I've misunderstood. A couple of things that might help me: are you using iOS 6 or iOS 7, and are you using your iPad mini in portrait or landscape? Four Down on iPad
Hi All, I have been using Four Down on my iPhone with no issues. I am now trying to use it on an iPad Mini, and once I reach the Down clues, I am not able to use the character setting in the rotor to spell out items in the puzzle. This works successfully on the Across clues, but not on the Down clues. I am just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or if anyone has any suggestions for what I may be doing wrong on the iPad. I just purchased Four Down. Finally, we have a crossword puzzle App that is accessible and a developer who is more than willing to make this VO accessible for blind users. I've never been able to do crossword puzzles before, though when I've visited my family I've helped them out with a few, so it's nice to be able to do one myself for a change. I contacted the developer, as did other blind users, asking for an iPhone version. Tonight, the developer let me know the app has been made universal. It's $0.99 in the US store.
