If someone wants even a lower priced service, consider the $30 a month plan from T-Mobile. It offers unlimited text and data along with 100 minutes a month. If you want more, there are iPhone apps that enable folks to make either free calls or ones that charge a penny a minute. The savings from a postpaid plan could buy a new 5S in less than 10 months. I think where Straight Talk would be a really good deal is if you
already have a phone you can take to their service. Otherwise, run
the numbers, and compare that would the cost if you sign up for a
two-year contract with another carrier. Also, I think you only can get
a 16-gig phone, which is okay if that is what you want anyway.
