Hi all, I am considering purchasing one of the new iPod shuffles. Can anyone describe the shuffle and what the voiceover is like? I know from apple's website that it comes with earpods. does anyone know what type of cable the ipod shuffle takes? Hi Stacey, It is my understanding that the Shuffle is not an iOS device hence it does not have Voiceover. I believe it has voice feedback built in, e.g. you can I believe ask it what song is playing and it will tell you, but I don't think it has full Voiceover. iPod Shuffle question
Hi all, I will be getting an iPod shuffle tomorrow. I know that they have two Giggs of memory. How many songs can I fit on a shuffle if my music is at 192 kbps? Hi Shirley, Each iPod Shuffle model had a different kind of cable. If I'm thinking of the same squarish model you are, the cable has a frame and a piece sticking up that fits into the headphone jack. When you plug it in, it rests on the frame. You may want to find out the model number and search somewhere like eBay. A podcast for using Itunes and Ipod shuffle
Hello all: Today, I decided and I percioused the Ipod shuffle. buttons are not so clear for me. I hope someone can make a describtion for the Ipod buttons. Thanks and I own an Iphone from more than 4 years, but I hate ITunes, and I always put my songs through other aps like Files pro. etc so, I must use I tunes with Ipod shuffle. can you give me a good podcast for instructions? and can I find a podcast about Ipod shuffle? Hi! If I'm remembering well, someone sent you a podcast to download via SendSpace in the last few days. Regarding Shuffle description, it's easy and simple. You have a square case with the belt clip on the back side and the round shaped buttons on the front. The correct way to hold and operate it is when the side buttons are up and you facing the round buttons. So, on a top side there are two things; on the right is three-position switch where you select between off, normal and shuffle playback and the button in top side center is Voice Over button. On the front side you have circle with four functions plus the center round button. If you compare the circle with a clock, than the 12 o'clock position is volume up, 3 o'clock is next/ff, 6 o'clock is volume down and the 9 o'clock is previous/rewind. The center button is play/pause. If you press and hold the play/pause button during playback you can lock or unlock the keys. Hate iTunes or not, it is the only safe and reliable solution to operate and transfer data between PC and iDevices so my suggestion is to get used to it. Hi Gordan: Thanks os much for your reply I didn't see the post for this podcast, anyway will try to search. and thanks for your describtion i don't mind using i tunes. but i feel specially with jaws that it's so complicated. i can add tracks to i tunes library, but, if i wil add them to my Ipod. i can't find a place to remove them from my Ipod without removing them from my Itunes library. also, i can't find a place to know my battery status in Itunes.
