[Vo]:Building E-Cat based thermal electricity plants
Following best practice in the CSP (Concentrating Solar Power) industry, where every watt is important and the heat is lower than what can be generated in a conventional thermal plant's boiler, we will be building a 1 MW E-Cat plant based on this system. We are working with Rossi to make this happen and hope to sign a contract soon. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/FMrXOWzV58Trn23wh8_zDNMTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink Your comments are most welcome as we work to deliver the lowest cost Ac kWs we can. As I have said, when I can disclose information I will. Making this happen is critically important to everyone. AG
RE: [Vo]:Building E-Cat based thermal electricity plants
You describe a scenario that we would all love to see unfold. It would be tough to pull a Rossi and have such a demonstration remain ambiguous. Best of luck in thermoelectric conversion, and thanks for keeping us in the loop. Re: [Vo]:Building E-Cat based thermal electricity plants
The closest technology out there at present is what has been developed for CSP plants. I don't have the time nor like to re-invent the wheel if it can be avoided. There are several companies developing CSP plants in Australia and we can tag along on their coat tails. Many thermal power plant equipment suppliers now have CSP friendly steam generators, heat exchangers and turbines almost off the shelf. From all my many conversations with Rossi, nothing he has said has ever given me one seconds worth of doubt. More the other way. Rossi is very conservative and supportive of his 1 MW plant published specs and has never said the plant will do more than is in the technical specs, no matter how much a push him for better specs. Likewise for payment, no money up front but guaranteed payment when the plant passes the technical specs by our testing and we supply all the testing gear, which we fully agree with. We are not really interested in self sustain mode but would like to understand more about the control issues versus power output. Rossi does not warrant ANY period of self sustain mode in his standard technical specifications, just a COP 6 of electrical input to thermal output. We are pushing the envelope to buy a 1 MW plant with 400 deg C output ASAP as he has not yet defined the technical specs of that version and will not sell us a 400 deg C plant until he has done that, which I fully agree with and respect him for. There is NO way this is a fraud. No way. AG On 11/29/2011 3:36 PM, Robert Leguillon wrote: You describe a scenario that we would all love to see unfold. Re: [Vo]:Building E-Cat based thermal electricity plants
We have access to what is happening in the CSP world and believe their solutions, minus the heat storage, are currently the best fit for a 400 deg C E-Cat thermal plant, especially for a demo plant. Re: [Vo]:Building E-Cat based thermal electricity plants
I have redrawn the plant diagram. We do not know what the E-Cat's primary fluid is nor what temperature it exits the E-Cat at. As Rossi says this is still RD. What we do know is Rossi has generated steam at 450 deg C as indicated here: https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/c-Z-X_XpaV4uRF0WieTq-9MTjNZETYmyPJy0liipFm0?feat=directlink AG On 11/29/2011 3:36 PM, Robert Leguillon wrote: You describe a scenario that we would all love to see unfold.
