Thanks Daniel,

It appears to be a big problem for Mac users.

I got back to my client and he sent me the info in text form - so my problem
is now solved.

Re: .mht

2007-09-05 Thread Daniel Kerr
Hi Lloyd

A bit more of a google search ("how to open .mht files on a Mac") gave a few
more ideas.

Have a look at the following link:-
http://forums.techguy.org/apple-macintosh/334485-reading-mht-files.html

Looks like Graphic Converter might open it.
If that doesn't work you could also try, and this might be a long shot, you
could try changing the .mht extension to .webarchive and see if Safari likes
it then.

See how you go with that. :o)

Kind Regards
Daniel

Re: Re new iMovie

2007-09-05 Thread Severin Crisp
THe blog certainly shows how to do a frame grab or grabs. A bit more
complicated than "Apple-F" in iMovie06. I looked for this in Getting
Started and online Help but could not find it, maybe it is hidden
somewhere. In the ild days probably a complete printed manual would
have revealed all.

Grudgingly I admit I like the clip scanning feature.

Enable 'Advanced Tools' in iMovie08 preferences and you can modify
transitions individually, change titles layout on the fly,
eliminating accidental deletion of titles overlaid on top of your
video content.

The more you learn about the new iMovie08, it really is quite

Re: New iPods

2007-09-05 Thread Adam Hewitt
It really depends on what you want to use it for...music or video?

If you want it for music then just go for the larger drive, if you want it
for video then you would want the larger screen.

However, if you are going to be after a new mobile phone in the next ~5
months then why not wait and get the iPhone for only a bit more than the
iPod Touch?

Adam.

Hi Stephen, the new imovie is set up differently - it allows you to
