I don't see why not. As long as the projector has the appropriate
inputs (HDMI or Component).

Don't forget a data projector is just another screen.

Eudora

2008-03-13 Thread fajt

Good morning,
I have a problem with my mail program Eudora.
i am using a G4 running Tiger 10.4.11 & am using Eudora 6.2.4 in
Sponsored mode.
Yesterday when I tried to check the mail it came up as a new version
in which I had to complete all details again but all the mailboxes
that I had set up before have disappeared.

I went to the Eudora folder & opened the mail folder but it is all new.
Can anyone tell me where to look for the previous emails that I had?
I never deleted anything.

Faye

PS Everything seems to have disappeared - even all my spelling corrections!!

Hi Philip,

If you are sure your iTunes Library is not in Home > Music - iTunes
folder.

You can use iPod Rip.
It will not only copy all the music from your iPod to your Mac —
including music purchased from the iTunes Music Store and audiobooks —
but do so while maintaining the playlists you’ve created.

"Put control of the iPod back in your hands with the ultimate iPod
companion. iPodRip supports recovering your songs and playlists,
playback of audio files and much more."

Cheers,
Ronni

Take care to ensure that the drive has more than a USB interface.
These WD units generally come in two flavours: USB, or Quad Interface
(USB 2.0, Firewire 400 & 800, eSATA). USB 2.0 is OK for transferring
small (a few hundred megabytes) amounts of data at a time (and, of
course, only if you have USB 2.0 on your Mac, otherwise forget it
completely), but USB chokes badly when asked to do anything more
substantial, for example imaging your Startup drive.

Firewire is much more flexible, and if your Mac is relatively recent
with a Firewire 800 port, you are far better off being able to take
advantage of this. The USB-only units appear to be a bargain because
they are quite a bit cheaper, but what you save in money you will
spend many times over in frustration.

Re: External Drives

2008-03-13 Thread lautrey
Hi Adrian,

I guess that if you are to use your external drive solely for your
Mac OS, then format it for that OS. Because I do very occasionally
use my external drives on Windows machine, I create a small
partition which I format for Windows, and the rest is formatted for
the Mac OS. This allows me to place some data for Windows only
machines, for whenever I visit my relatives/friends with Windows PCs.

I have partitioned & formatted many external drives NTFS (Win) & Mac
OS Extended as mentioned above using the trusty Disk Utility without
any problem.

Hope this somehow makes sense.

Regards,

Philippe C
