ABC radio online

2008-08-19 Thread Susan Hastings
Hi, a friend wants to listen to ABC radio live. I am able to listen to
the Windows version on my Mac, and I think its because I have Flip4Mac
installed. Is that the only way she would be able to do it? cheers,
Susan.

Re: ABC radio online - error message

2008-08-19 Thread Susan Hastings
She gets the message: MIME type video/x-mes-wmv. Because you don't
have a plugin installed for this MIM type, this content cannot be
displayed.

I have a Sony WEGA Widescreen CRT TV for sale.
66cm only about 4 years old.
All you need is a Set Top Box and you have digital TV.
Great condition with perfect picture going for $100.

I just moved on to an LCD Integrated.

Hi Susan,

Assuming she's using a Mac and can use widgets try this -

http://www.rwts.com.au/abcradio/

it's based on a BBC widget and both work fine from 10.4.11 and up.

Cheers,

James

Re: ABC radio online - error message

2008-08-19 Thread Daniel Kerr
Hi Susan

Yes, that error message generally means it's not installed.
I'd get her to install Flip4Mac if she's using a Mac, or grab Windows Media
Player if she's on Windows.
Should be able to get them both from VersionTracker.

Fingers crossed.

Kind Regards
Daniel

Query - sent emails from iPhone

2008-08-19 Thread Steven Knowles
If I send an email from my iPhone, a disadvantage seems to be that the
message doesn't appear as a sent item within Mail on my Mac.

Is there a way to achieve this automatically?

You should see all sent items if your email is set up as an IMAP
account. Certainly, all mail I have sent from my phone using my .mac
address shows up in my Mail account on my iMac.
