Hi Chris,

Read the whole Matthew Miller review on all the iPad Office Apps.
Especially his 'Favourite and Why’:

 /Quote:
Quickoffice is my overall favorite application thanks to the iPad optimized
user experience, Word and Excel import and export capability, easy file
management, and reasonable $10 price.

Re: excel on the ipad?

2011-08-14 Thread Ronda Brown

Hi Chris,

The three Apple iWork Apps are great on an iPad, BUT if you have not been using
iWork on your Mac, and are using Excel, ‘Documents To Go’ as John has
recommended I would think is the better way for you to go.

This review was written back in June 2010, I would imagine 'Documents To Go’
would have made more improvements by now.

Hi Lloyd,

I don’t know if this is the App John refers to:

Requirements:
Compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad.
Requires iOS 3.0 or later.

John,

Is Spreadsheet an iPad or iPhone App? I can't find it in the iPad section
of Apple Store iPad section, but there is one called Spreadsheet in the
iPhone section.

Re: excel on the ipad?

2011-08-14 Thread Daniel Forsdyke

Hi Chris

I am using 'docs to go' with both iDisk and dropbox.

It was easy to set up with the online services, and it does most things you
might want to do in excel. One thing I have encountered is that it does not do
drop down lists from a cell, but other than that no problems.

excel on the ipad?

2011-08-14 Thread Chris Burton

Hi everyone

I am enquiring to find out a useful way of importing/exporting excel docs to an
ipad.
I have done some online searching and see that Microsoft hasnt ported Office to
the ipad but there seem to be a few alternatives like 'Documents to Go', 'Quick
Office' and the Apple apps, iWorks and Numbers. I havnt used any of these and
ask if someone can please advise me?

I would like to be able to use an 'Excel like' app, in a similar way to FMP Go
on the iPad, as a data entry program that can update files to/from a laptop.

Thanks for any help

Chris
