Re: Skype
Hi Mac, Are you able to see yourself in iSight (FaceTime HD Camera (Built-In) video camera? Do you have FaceTime turned ON? You should be able to select the FaceTime HD Camera in Skype 5.3.59 Find out if your computer recognises the iSight (FaceTime HD Camera (Built-in) In Lion, check System Information … found in Applications Utilities System Information Click USB under Hardware Under the USB header, check to see if the iSight camera is detected. It will show as FaceTime HD Camera (Built-in) The FaceTime HD Camera (Video Audio) does work in Skype 5.3 1. Open Skype 2. Skype Preferences Audio/Video Have these settings selected: Microphone: Built-in Microphone (Internal microphone Speakers: Built-in Output (Internal Speakers) Ringing:Built-in Output (Internal Speakers Camera:FaceTime HD Camera (Built-in) I can send you a screenshot offlist if you can’t follow the above settings. http://www.tuaw.com/2011/08/08/skype-5-3-adds-lion-support-hd-video-calls/ http://www.skype.com/intl/en-us/get-skype/on-your-computer/macosx/ Cheers, Ronni On 13/01/2012, at 5:13 PM, McCallum Malcolm wrote: They cannot see me(maybe we should leave it at that pleasant state of affairs)! Re: 1Password
Hi Ian, I’m sorry but I don’t seem to understand what exactly you are trying to do, so I’m finding it hard to help you. Are you trying to login to your Bank online (in Safari) and get 1Password to save it so in the future you can automatically login using 1Password? If so this Link shows you. How To: Save a 1Password Login: If you already have a username and password for a site, it’s really easy to save them into 1Password as a Login, which you can use to get into the site later much more quickly. From now on, 1Password can automatically and securely fill in your usernames and passwords for you! http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/3_minute_expert.html OR, Are you trying to change a login password that you had previously setup in 1Password to login to your Bank online? The Link above also shows you. How To: Update a Login’s password: Maybe you created a Login using a weak password and want to use our Strong Password Generator to make your account much more secure, or maybe you simply feel like changing your password for ol’ time’s sake. Whatever the case, updating a Login’s password is pretty easy: If none of the above is what you are wanting to do, have a look at the Tutorials and FAQ Knowledgebase at these links. http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/tutorials.html http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/faqs.html http://help.agilebits.com/1Password3/knowledgebase.html Cheers, Ronni 17 MacBook Pro 2.3GHz Quad-Core i7 “Thunderbolt 2.3GHz / 8GB / 750GB @ 7200rpm HD OS X 10.7.2 Lion Windows 7 Ultimate (under sufferance) On 13/01/2012, at 5:59 PM, Ian Reid wrote: On 12/01/2012, at 19:04, Ronda Brown ro...@mac.com wrote: Hi Ian, 4.
