Re: How to right-click and look up in Wikipedia?

Thanks for this tip Ronnie. I didn't realise there were so many
options! (Apologies for delayed response - an out-of-control inbox).

Cheers, Steven

Wondering if someone has already invented this wheel - I'm trying to
avoid spending hours on it if so. I'm fairly sure it'd be a piece of
cake for someone familiar with it.
As you'd know, you can double-click on a word in most documents to
highlight it, and then right-click that word to immediately look it
up in dictionary or Google or Spotlight.
How do I tweak the menu options, or add a new menu option, to enable
me to do the same but look up in Wikipedia?

Hi Steven,

As you are aware I'm no longer subscribed to WAMUG Mailing list, but
I do check the Archives now and then.
In answer to your above query, you can change Dictionary's
Preferences.
Open Dictionary Application Preferences - Drag Wikipedia to the
top location in the sources.

Beside Contextual Menu: check 'Open Dictionary Application'.

Then when you 'Right-Click' or 'Control-Click' a word in any Coca
application - 'look up in Dictionary' and Dictionary will open and
show Wikipedia first.
If you only wanted Wikipedia to show, uncheck the Thesaurus,
Dictionary etc in Preferences.

Cheers,
Ronni

What browser are you using? It works fine for me in Safari.
