Hi James,

Thanks for your advice. I ended up with a different solution. I was given a
CD/DVD player which I just plug into my Denon and it works perfectly.

I took it to him this morning and he seems to know what to do with it. The
waiting bit is for the parts over the holiday period.

I eventually took it to Regal Electronics Unit 18/143 Stirling Highway
Nedlands and he seems to know what to do.
