on the bludge again

2011-02-03 Thread KEVIN Lock

Hi,

I have recently been given several iBooks for my giveaway project.
One of the iBooks has its powerpack charger missing.

Does anyone have a spare they are not going to be using and might
want to donate it to this project?

Thanks in advance,

Kevin

Also, my OS 10.4 system disk has finally died. Perchance is there
a 10.4 disk out there in WAMUG land which is no longer needed.

Any assistance gratefully accepted.

My project donates machines to needy people and none are sold.

Thanks

2010-12-10 Thread Kyle Kreusch
Hi, Kevin

I've been told that I have to clean up some of the computer parts that I
have lying around in my room unfortunately I don't have any full machines to
give away

But if you can contact me off list with a list of parts that you commonly
require I can see if I have any lying around

On the bludge again

2010-05-12 Thread KEVIN Lock

I have just had a request for a couple of Macs to be placed in a
Council occupational therapy centre.

I have plenty of 350mhz iMacs and to connect them to the net I am
hoping that someone on the list may have a couple of surplus wifi
cards I can put in them?

Any help will be most appreciated.

regards,

Kevin

On the bludge again

2010-02-25 Thread KEVIN Lock

I have a USB Iomega Zip 650 CD reader/writer which I was hoping to
give away with a slot loader 350mhz iMac. Unfortunately the power
cable in has two of the pins broken off.

Anyone have one of these languishing in a box in the shed?

Thanks,

Kevin

Sorry that I can't help. Wish I could. What is more I don't think
you are a bludger - you seem to be a busy bloke doing things all the
time. However, you do sponge off us from time to time, for a good
cause, so you're OK you old B..d.

Hi,

I have a few more iMacs ready for distribution to needy people, but
unfortunately I am short of a few keyboards and mice.

If anyone on the list has some spare USB boards and even the old
puck mice, I would be most grateful. I contacted Winthrop
Technologies and they have just dumped a stack of such gear.

I have some PC boards and whilst they do work, they lack the extra
USB ports needed when a printer, keyboard and mouse is attached.

Thanks for any help.
