New machines have indeed started shipping with 10.2. New machines 
leaving the factory from today will apparently have it pre-installed. 
And it's very nice :-)

August is intituled to a $40.00 upgrade from Apple Computer the form to fill
out can be downloaded from Apples Web page and you fill this out and fax it
back to Apple along with your invoice as proof of purchase. If proof of
purchase is not sent than that will be followed up by a consultant who will

Coooel ... I think you're the first non-developer to have mentioned having it 
(on this list) Michael - you lucky ... ah, fatherless person ;-)

I've noted the forums in macnn and appleinsider 've people stating they 
received Jag- *ahem*, the 10.2 update with their new or repaired computer.

There's also info from thinksecret.com; they reckon the new powermacs will 
be press-released tomorrow ... and that they'll come with 10.2 pre-installed. 
Some people even think that Apple might release 10.2 early, to coincide with 
the new powermacs (pretty unlikely I figure).

Let us know how 10.2 performs eh?
