Hi Carlo,

Yes I can see my error now.
It happened when Elgato advised that their support email address had
changed and advised to try what I thought was the new email address -
but I should have realized it was their help URL.

Hi Walter,

A address starting with http is normally a web page not an email address. 
Generally email addresses do not use the full colon character so Mail app does 
not provide one in its keyboard. Are you sure you have the right email address?

If you are sure you need a colon in an email address you can use the cut and 
paste buffer to copy one from say pages, and paste it into your mail app 
address bar.
