Re: More iiNet Queries.
Why should I be happy? You should be unhappy. By the way, can anyone who's using TPG let me know how reliable their service is, for modem in particular. I noticed a couple of changes and seeing as I'll need to change my email address anyway maybe a change of ISP wouldn't go astray. Up until the recent MEDEC spam I had not received any. I'm wondering if iiNet has something to do with it or if I have just become unlucky. I have just been reading. Countermeasures introduced by iiNet technicians were marginally successful in decreasing the amount of spam received, but there are still delays in the delivery of mail sent through mail.m.iinet.net.au. As the originator of the attack has now ceased their activities the load of the servers are now under control, however delays will still be encountered while the remaining spool of undelivered mail is worked through. iiNet expect mail delivery times to return to normal levels in the next 24 hours. well, iinet, too late I have recently closed my iinet account in favour of tpg.com.au I now pay $17 a month instead of $40, (unlimited time downloads), i can connect whenever i dial and i don't get a dozen penis-enlargement spams every day. For the record it took about 80 minutes from entering my payment details on the website to using my new account. Greg On Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at 01:55 PM, Alan wrote: I have just been reading. They have already sent a couple of emails letting me know how far they are in getting ADSL up and running. Hopefully I will see my ADSL modem in the post within the next few days. I'll keep the list posted on how it goes! BTW, TPG do not offer technical support for Macs, so be aware! Considering the dramas people are having with iiNet ADSL, it will be very interesting to see how TGP's service stacks up! Seeya Rod! (Who is hanging out to be back in the land of broadband!)

Re: More iiNet Queries.
We started to receive this at school. Rang iiNet and they were going to apply spam blocking. Will see what happens.
