Hi all
Not sure if this message got thru, trying again to .org.au
From time to time my iMac won't wake up after natural sleep (long period of
inactivity). My usual wake ups of mouse moving or space bar press do
nothing. Have to resort to magic restart hole or shut off completely.
I vaguely remember reading something about this somewhere but cannot recall.
Can anyone help please with an explanation or solution?
Could be either
* A flat PRAM battery
* A (possibly USB) driver or extension which is crashing when the
machine is put to sleep/awoken.
Have fun,
Shay
Hi Shay and all
Thanks for your response. With your two suggestions I'm in favour of the
extension conflict. Suspect MSN Messenger which my daughter downloaded,
since it causes other nuisance glitches.
Thanks muchly andI do have fun - in a quiet way of course!
